How You Can Help With Campbell Labels

and Box Tops for Education Labels and Tysons Project A+ Labels

Diane Geelhoed - CoordinatorIt’s such a wonderful opportunity for me to serve you by being the Campbell’s Soup Label and Box Top Coordinator.

Campbell’s Soup Labels: One of the biggest challenges in being the Coordinator is making sure that all of the labels qualify, that they are trimmed so that, as a minimum, the UPC label is included (although it is preferred that the Campbell’s “Labels for Education” logo is attached as well). For your information, Campbell’s will allow as little as one half of a UPC label to be missing. Visit www.labelsforeducation.com for a complete list of eligible products.

Box Tops for Education: These labels can be found on many different products such as Kleenex, General Mills cereals, Hamburger Helper and many more. If you would like a complete list of all products that have Box Tops labels on them, please contact me and I will send you a list. It would be extremely helpful if, before sending Box Tops to us, you check to be sure they haven’t expired. We cannot redeem expired labels – and it costs you extra postage to send ones that can’t be redeemed.

Tyson’s Project A+: Many Tyson products are included. Look for “Support Your School” on bags and boxes. The tear-off top will reflect the words “Tyson’s Project A+.” Please send the entire tear-off portion.

Our Current Goal:

Campbell’s Soup Labels: A 7-passenger minivan. (Takes 1,600,000 labels – as of 6/10 we have 1,191,221 toward that goal!) Thank you for sending all those labels – and please keep sending them!

All of the vehicles on campus have many miles on the odometers. These vans are used constantly to transport students to and from school bus pick-up points on the reservation, to pick up work and witness teams from the airport, and for many other activities. It is imperative that we have safe and reliable transportation. Acquiring another newer model van in the near future will ensure the safety of our students and staff as we travel the many miles required in this Northern Arizona area.

Box Tops: Between March 1, 2009 and November 30, 2009, we received $3,500 from Box Tops for Education. From December 2009 through February 2010, we have received an additional $2,086. Thank you for your faithfulness in sending labels! These funds are used to support the general fund.
